This week’s edition of VlogMoms is called “A Life Changing Moment.” This was not easy for me to do because I have never done a video about this topic. I have written about it before but for those of you who have done video, you know that it is much different than writing about something. Eventhough the moment happened during very rough period of our lives, it was a true moment of clarity and has helped make me the woman I am today. So without further ado…
Other moms share their life changing moments and I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch them all. It is motherhood that binds us and video that allows to tell our motherhood stories in a whole new way.

WOW. This had me in tears. My heart hurt for you as I know exactly how you feel! Since I struggle with depression too I am terrified that my kids will come out affected – and that nasty disgusting guilt eats at my heart. Thank you for being so honest and sharing your heart here!
You are an amazing Mom!!! Thank you so much sharing this!! Now I need to go hug Ellie and wipe all the tears from my face.
Reach out to others. For sure, Kadi. You nailed it. We can learn from each other, cry with each other, knowing we’re not alone. I didn’t know we shared having a child attacked by a dog. As if that’s not traumatic enough. Parenting is quite simply not easy. But in the end, no matter what, we love them. All of them, all our lives. I’m so happy that man showed compassion in the elevator instead of judgement. Thank you for sharing. XOX
We really take for granted the times when parenting is easy, don’t we? You’re one strong mom. And very inspirational for being brave enough to share what you’ve gone through. Just as brave as the man who reached out to you in that elevator. Thank you.
Oh Kadi! Totally sitting here in tears. Thank you for being so brave as to share this with us. HUGS!!!
Thank you for sharing. Thank you for being brave enough to share. Thank you for the encouragement.
Thank you, everyone, for the support. It is the sharing of our lives and the support of friends that makes living through the hard times a little easier. xoxo
Oh, Kadi. I’d read your story before, but hearing and watching you tell it… wow. What a moment to share. Thank you.
Oh, Kadi. This is raw, and sad and beautiful. Someday when we meet in real life we should talk more about our boys. It sounds like they have a lot in common.
